You are responsible for the cost of fingerprinting and the criminal record checks (cost between $50 - $170). NO LEGAL FILES CAN BE SEALED OR EXPUNGED. Background screening is conducted through the local School Board. Some positions also require fingerprinting and background clearance through the Background Screening Clearinghouse Program - Department of Children and Families.
